Images By Design presented the races Sunday night at the Dodge County Speedway in Kasson, Minn. The night was spectacular weather wise for the final night of the 153rd Dodge County Free Fair with the pit area filled with 85 race cars and a handful of vintage cars.
The American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series stormed into the Dodge County Speedway on Wednesday evening set for the Thunderbird Open. It was the kick-off to the 153rd Dodge County Fair, but Mother Nature’s curse continued.

Brandon Hare was once again a man on a mission as he charged from row 5 to second in practically no time at all. Hare rocketed to the lead on lap 10 and soared off into the night.
For the first time this season, it felt like summer at the Dodge County Speedway. Seventy-eight racing machines signed in the back gate this week to tackle the historic fairgrounds oval.
Under glorious sun-drenched skies the Dodge County Speedway fired up for another night of American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series action. Eighty cars signed in the back gates and the crowd witnessed some excellent racing.
For the second week in a row Mother Nature was kind to the Dodge County Speedway with beautiful sun-drenched skies. That coupled with all of the rain-outs of this weekend provided an overflowing pit area for night number five of racing.
This week it was “Pack The Grandstand Night” at the Dodge County Speedway with $5 admission prices in effect. A great crowd was on hand and the pits were jammed full with 115 cars in attendance.
The 2010 racing season has begun and the racing has been good, the car counts have improved and the food at the Pit Stop Grill is great. There is only one thing missing so far at the Dodge County Speedway this season and that is you, the race fan.
With less than ideal conditions, stock car racing went on this week at the Dodge County Speedway. With a light rain falling all over Southeast Minnesota, somehow it missed Kasson and racing went on as planned.
