Walski wins on Memorial Day at Dodge County Speedway

KASSON, Minn. -- The 10th Annual Stars & Stripes Shootout at the Dodge County Speedway got off to a good start Sunday night with a good field of USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods on hand.

However, after all of the heat races were complete, Mother Nature showed up to the party and dropped some rain during the first "B" feature for the USMTS Modifieds. The rain and a light mist persisted and that forced race officials to postpone the rest of the event until Monday at noon.

So on Monday things resumed and a front row starter led from green to checkered in the USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mod feature.

Shaun Walski survived a late race challenge from Greg Mattick to win his first of the year.

Mattick had his best run to date in second with Kylie Kath, Jacob Bleess and Patrick McCarthy Jr. in the top five.
