USRA Modifieds and USRA Stock Cars will be the headlining acts when the historic Dodge County Speedway in Kasson, Minn., hosts racing on the 3/8-mile clay oval this summer for the first time in more than three years.

Rules for the 2014 USRA Weekly Racing Series are complete and are available on the USRA website, officials from the United States Racing Association announced today.

Drivers in the two open-wheel divisions are locked in tight battles with razor-thin margins that will come down to the final night of racing while the leaders in the two full-fendered divisions have simply to wait until Oct. 20 to be crowned USRA national champions.

Officials from the United States Racing Association have released the 2013 schedule for the USRA Iron Man Challenge featuring USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods.

It was a hot, windy and steamy time at the Dodge County Speedway this week. The USRA B-Mod feature may have only had six cars, but it was a barnburner for the first nine laps.

The Dodge County Speedway had their third show of the season on Sunday.

Tyler Droste led the USRA B-Mod feature from green to checkered to take the win. The nine-car field stacked five of them up on lap 1, but after that things went fairly smooth.

On a beautiful Mother’s Day, the Dodge County Speedway dropped the green flag on the 2012 race season. B&M Promotions took over the reigns of the historic fairgrounds speedway in March and will continue Sunday night racing in Kasson.

Due to 2½ inches of rain over night at the Dodge County Speedway, and with an already wet ground, races for Sunday night, May 6, have been cancelled.

Brian and Mike Madsen of B&M Promotions, Inc., in Blooming Prairie have signed on to promote weekly racing at the Dodge County Speedway. They will take over the reigns from Stan and Sandy Gilbertson who operated the facility last year.
