The irresistible force that is Justin "Whitey" Folk continues at Humboldt Speedway, as the man scored another USRA Modified feature win Friday night.

Life in the USRA Modified feature Friday night at the Humboldt Speedway proved quite interesting after inverting the top three rows. But Johnny Bone Jr. rose to the challenge, winning the main event.

"Lightning" Jack Simmons, patriarch of Keith and Zack and racer of anything with wheels, has had a tough year. That is, up until Friday, Aug. 8, when he blasted the Humboldt Speedway USRA Modified field.

The next eight days at Humboldt Speedway are huge ... the biggest one week line up of events in the 40-year history of the track. Things got off to a powerful start Friday, Aug. 1, with some fabulous racing action. Modified thrills? You bet!

History was made on Friday, July 24, at Humboldt Speedway with two first-time feature winners, the triumphant return of a salty veteran to victory lane and the continuing saga of a racing legend as USRA Modified legend-in-the-making Justin "Whitey" Folk continued to roll along at a blistering pace.

The near total domination of late in the USRA Modified division has seen Justin "Whitey" Folk hammer a lot of tough competition. His own brother, Jess Folk Jr., came close to pulling off a win to break the spell Friday night. Unfortunately for Jess, close doesn't get it done.

Johnny Bone Jr. won the 16th Annual Humboldt Speedway Modified Blast Thursday night. Well, maybe saying he "won" it is a bit of an understatement. This guy rolled into town and smoked everybody.

USRA Modified action Friday night at Humboldt Speedway featured the "usual suspect": Whitey Folk, riding the high side of The Hummer high banks on his way to still another feature win.

The mid-point of the 2008 season has come and gone with veteran driver Jess Folk Jr. topping the current points standings in the USRA Modifieds. This week's big ticket race had to be a duel between Justin "Whitey" Folk and road warrior Johnny Bone Jr.
