WHEATLAND, Mo. (March 2, 2026)—March has arrived and that means it’s race month at Lucas Oil Speedway.

Engines will fire for the first time on March 21st for Open Test and Tune for drivers in all division from 6-9 p.m. on the dirt oval. The scheduled then gets going March 26-28 with the USMTS King of America, following a practice set for March 25th.

Other items to keep in mind over the next few weeks include:

Job Fair on Saturday: Lucas Oil Speedway is hiring in several departments and a Job Fair is scheduled for Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at the speedway office. Available jobs include public safety, concessions, gift shop and go-kart track.

Registration forms: Driver and owner registration forms can be filled out in advance on the competitors page at lucasoilspeedway.com. Those include W9 form, driver medical form and a 2026 membership license. Submitting those in advance will save time when checking into the pits as the season gets underway.

Show-Me 100 3-day passes, season passes available: Three-day reserved tickets for the 34th annual Show-Me 100, May 21-23, are available. Those three-day tickets, in the top rows of the main grandstand with chair backs, will be $127 apiece, not including fees, and can be purchased through the speedway website for the first time this year. High Limit Sprint event tickets can be purchased in advance through the High Limit website.

Camping info: The speedway has 10 new dry camping spots added to replace the shortened ones that the new dump station interfered with. They are located east of the car wash. The dump station is located behind section B in the campground, north of the upper pond. Visit the Lucas Oil Speedway website to view and book availability in the campground.

Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, Missouri. A campground with shower and bathroom facilities is available. With its entrance located just outside the pit gate, this sprawling scenic camping facility will continue to enhance the racing experience.
