Folk does it again at Humboldt

HUMBOLDT, Kan. - Whitey Folk did it again.

In the USRA Modified heats at Humboldt Speedway Friday, Scott Daniels and Rick Murcko, along with Jack Simmons and Steve Becker were blistering fast and had the front two rows of the feature covered.

It was "Katy bar the door" for one lap until Gary Langworthy Jr. ate the wall in turn 1.

On the restart, Folk went from fifth to first in less time than it took you to read this, and simply sailed away.

Of those left behind, Daniels took second with Simmons third, Murcko fourth and Rodney Sigg in fifth.

Next week is Friday the 13th, and lucky fans will be treated to "Thousand To Win Friday" at The Hummer. A grand to win, $300 to start in USRA Modifieds, plus the other three outstanding classes. Don't miss it!
