With 90 race teams in the pits, action again was fast and furious on the Action Track of the Ozarks as the chase for the championship got even closer in the USRA Modifieds as former Midway Speedway track champion Jamie Ragland captured his second straight feature win.

Jody Rosenboom moved a step closer to making history at Huset's Speedway by capturing his 10th USRA Championship Sprint win of the season Sunday night. Gregg Bakker passed early race leader Marlon Jones on lap 15 of the USRA Outlaw Sprint feature event and went on to score his first win of the year. Ben VanVooren knotched win #3 in USRA B-Mod action while Shaun Taylor recorded USRA Hobby Stock win #5.
It was a picture perfect night for the second-to-last night of track points at the Deer Creek Speedway. The USRA Modifieds definitely did not want to be left out of the exciting feature racing action that had already taken place. Front row starters Todd Scharkey and Brad Waits would see to that.
David Holder of Clearance, Mo., made his trip to the high banks of the I-44 Speedway well worth the haul as the "Iceman" and 24 Raceway points champion ran away with the USRA Modified feature Saturday on the fast and smooth racing surface.
The fans got their money's worth Saturday night at the Caney Valley Speedway during the second night of racing at the newly-refurbished facility in Southern Kansas. In the USRA Modified feature, Justin "Whitey" Folk and Johnny Bone Jr. battled through lapped traffic. After a lap 18 caution, Folk was able to hold on to the lead and take the win, his 15th of the season and first at CVS.
