Race fans get ready for a night of thrills, as the USRA Modified Season Championship will come down to the wire this Saturday at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway, as the top three drivers in the class are within seven points of each other. Rookie David Hendrix has led the points most of the year, but has hit a rough stretch late in the season, allowing for Tony Jackson Jr. and defending track champion Justin Neuman to get back into the championship hunt.
It’s hard to believe that it’s season championship time of the season already, but this Saturday, Aug. 25, will be Cunningham Fertilizer Season Championship Night at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway.

The season is rapidly winding down and the invitational part of the season is upon the speedway. The 25th of August will see the drivers take to the high banked speedway as they finish out the season with the Season Championship night.
Back To School Night scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the Southern Iowa Speedway has been called off. NASCAR Nextel Cup Series veteran Ken Schrader finished sixth in Tuesday night's standing-room-only O'Reilly USMTS show at the Cresco (Iowa) Speedway and will compete Wednesday night at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa. On Tuesday, Schrader announced he'll make it a four-day trek by adding the show on Thursday at the Knox County Fairgrounds in Knoxville, Ill., and Friday's tilt at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield (Iowa) Speedway.

The I-44 Speedway will treat fans to a full fireworks show put on by professional pyrotechnic experts during intermission.
