During a five-hour stretch of racing, fans were treated to 24 heat races, eight "B" mains and four thrilling "A" mains with nearly 400 laps of racing on the Mahaska County Half-Mile Monster.

One hundred cars showed up to race for the added money during the running of this the Hartland Nationals at the Deer Creek Speedway. Steve Wetzstein showed his strength early in the 30-lap, $2,000-to-win USRA Modified feature event.

Chateau Raceway powered by Miner's Outdoor & Rec hosted 3rd Annual Fall Nationals this past weekend. Two full shows featuring all six of the track's regular classes over two nights provided plenty of action as the 2008 racing season came to a close.
