Dr. Danger highlights Friday night card at Midway Speedway
LEBANON, Mo. - Action will be a plenty Friday night, Aug. 21, at the Midway Speedway as the chase for the championship battle continues with action in the USRA Modifieds, Factory Stocks, B-Mods, Bombers and Pure Stocks competing on the clay oval.
Also making his first Ozarks apperance is Doctor Danger performing car stunts at intermission. The Doctor is known to spend as much time in the hospital as he does traveling down the highways, and is famous for taking his stunts to the edge. Known for driving a pre-stock car through stacked-up cars, driving into obstacles and other stunts not done anymore.
In the chase for the championship, the current points leader in the USRA Modified division is Donnie Fellers of Wheatland.
Gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7:05 and racing at 8 p.m. sharp.
Admission for this Friday night event will be $12 for adults, kids ages 11-15 are $7 and 10 and under are free.
