The Midway Speedway is getting ready for the 2nd annual Larry Phillips Birthday Bash on Friday night, July 11. The race, named in the honor of former great driving star Larry Phillips, is ran one week later than his birthday, which was July 3.

At the Monett Speedway on Sunday July 6, USRA Modified action saw Lebanon's Tony Jackson Jr. take the lead from Terry Beckham II of Webb City early in the race, then hold off Eric Turner for his second win of the year at the Monett Speedway.

Jody Rosenboom continued his domination of the USRA Championship Sprint division by claiming his eighth win of the year. In USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mod action, Kyle Nordquist garnered his fourth consecutive feature win and Shaun Taylor recorded his fourth win in the USRA Hobby Stock feature.
