Three of the four American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series classes were in action Tuesday night at the Cresco Speedway for a big night of racing on NASCAR Night presented by Dean's Body Shop.

The American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series was back in action Sunday on the lightning-fast 4/10-mile clay oval of the Cresco Speedway in Cresco, Iowa, with another "Licensed to Thrill" night featuring free grandstand admission to residents of Decorah and Waukon.

The roar of engines return to the Cresco Speedway this Sunday, July 12, for the second “Licensed to Thrill” event of the season. Race fans from the towns of Decorah and Waukon simply need to show their driver's license or i.d. card to get FREE admission to the grandstands and enjoy a full night of racing action on the house!

The Deery Brothers Summer Series ends a lengthy absence from the Mighty Howard County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, Aug. 25, as Subway hosts the Late Model tour for their first event at the Cresco Speedway since 1996. The event was originally slated for June 11 but was rained-out.

Feature winners on the evening were Darrin Walch of Postville in the USRA Modifieds and Matt Jones in the USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mods. Rain fell on the speedway soon thereafter and forced the postponement of the USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Car and USRA Hobby Stock features until next Tuesday.
