Jody Rosenboom moved a step closer to making history at Huset's Speedway by capturing his 10th USRA Championship Sprint win of the season Sunday night. Gregg Bakker passed early race leader Marlon Jones on lap 15 of the USRA Outlaw Sprint feature event and went on to score his first win of the year. Ben VanVooren knotched win #3 in USRA B-Mod action while Shaun Taylor recorded USRA Hobby Stock win #5.
It was a picture perfect night for the second-to-last night of track points at the Deer Creek Speedway. The USRA Modifieds definitely did not want to be left out of the exciting feature racing action that had already taken place. Front row starters Todd Scharkey and Brad Waits would see to that.
David Holder of Clearance, Mo., made his trip to the high banks of the I-44 Speedway well worth the haul as the "Iceman" and 24 Raceway points champion ran away with the USRA Modified feature Saturday on the fast and smooth racing surface.
The fans got their money's worth Saturday night at the Caney Valley Speedway during the second night of racing at the newly-refurbished facility in Southern Kansas. In the USRA Modified feature, Justin "Whitey" Folk and Johnny Bone Jr. battled through lapped traffic. After a lap 18 caution, Folk was able to hold on to the lead and take the win, his 15th of the season and first at CVS.

Racing action resumed at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway after a break in the action for the pit-stop durn the week of sprint car racing in Southern Iowa. A total of 75 cars in action in all five divisions with several new cars making the trip to the semi-banked clay oval at the Davis County Fairgrounds.

Lebanon's Jamie Ragland and the Midway Speedway have been a well fit match for each other. On Friday night, Ragland battled early with race leader Justin Neuman and took control on lap 11 to capture his fourth USRA Modified feature event of the season. Ninety race teams checked into the pits on Amsoil Night at the Races.
Life in the USRA Modified feature Friday night at the Humboldt Speedway proved quite interesting after inverting the top three rows. But Johnny Bone Jr. rose to the challenge, winning the main event.
The action at the I-44 Speedway on Saturday night, Aug. 16, will again be close and fast-paced as the USRA Modifieds, Factory Stocks, B-Mods, Bombers, Rookies and Legends Cars will be in action on the high banks with only one week left before the season championship.
The racing action on Friday night, Aug. 15, will feature a special treat for both drivers and fans as the track will present Amsoil Night with a special on-track autograph session along with meeting and greeting the drivers who make the Midway Speedway a special place to race at.
