“Pack the Stands” Night this Sunday at Dodge County Speedway

KASSON, Minn. – The 2010 racing season has begun and the racing has been good, the car counts have improved and the food at the Pit Stop Grill is great. There is only one thing missing so far at the Dodge County Speedway this season and that is you, the race fan.

Has it been a while since you have been to the Dodge County Speedway? Did you go as a kid and just have not got back to the fun you experienced in your youth? Is your family looking for something fun and different to do?

Well, there are no more excuses not come and witness the excitement, side-by-side racing and great food that stock car racing has to offer at this historic fairgrounds oval.

This Sunday, May 2, the Dodge County Speedway presents it’s version of “Pack the Stands” Night. Adult admission prices will be slashed in half with an adult ticket of only $5 while kids will remain free with a paid adult.

New for the kids this year is a Kid’s Club. The youngsters can register each night for prizes and a ride in the pace truck. The pace truck drives in front of all the race cars on the track before their respective feature giving the kids an up close and personal look at the cars and crowd. They also get a pace truck tour of the pit area to see the cars, pit crews and drivers.

The Dodge County Speedway already offers the best value for your racing dollar each week, but this Sunday they are offering an even better value. It will be a great opportunity to have a fun evening out with your family and friends and not spend much money at all.

There is racing in seven divisions including the USRA RHS Modifieds and USRA Karl Performance B-Mods, plus Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Street Stocks and Hornets.

The grandstands will open at 3 p.m. with hot laps at 4:45 and racing starting at 5. For more information on the Dodge County Speedway, go to the only and official track website at www.dodgecountyspeedway.com.
