Daniels becomes fifth different winner at Humboldt
HUMBOLDT, Kan. - In five weeks of racing there have been five different winners in the USRA RHS Modifieds at the Humboldt Speedway. Now that's some competitive racing!
Dan Daniels, Brian Bolin and John Allen put on a heck of a show Sunday night with each winning their heat races and putting them in the first three spots in the main event.
Daniels led all 20 laps to claim the victory while Allen made his move with two laps to go to finish second.
Bolin settled for the third spot while Justin "Whitey" Folk followed close behind for fourth.
Oklahoma's Chris Deaton ran a strong fifth.
Plans are to race this Friday night, May 7, with a regular show and to beat out Mother Nature for the win. If Friday's races lose again, look for another Sunday afternoon show ... we've got the race fever.
