In USRA Modified action, all eyes were on points leader Terry Beckham II to see if he could make it four in a row. Fuel pick-up problems, however, sent him to the pits during the pace lap.
A warm but Breezy day found a good field of cars and a nice crowd on hand for the Island Pool and Spa day at the Deer Creek Speedway. Tim Donlinger has had the hot hand at the redraw box through the first two weeks of the season. Both times Donlinger drew the front row redraw for the feature event.

Brock Dump emerged victorious after a torrid battle with Jody Rosenboom in USRA Championship Sprint action while Tyler Johnson scored the USRA B-Mod win and Craig Hanisch took the trophy in the USRA Hobby Stocks.
