Beckham gets Saturday night win at Humboldt

HUMBOLDT, Kan. -- Round 2 of the Humboldt Speedway "two-fer" weekend went off Saturday night.

It was wire to wire for Webb City, Mo., driver Terry Beckham II, who recorded his second USRA RHS Modified win of the year at 'The Hummer.'

Ryan Whitworth turned in a strong runner-up performance, while Scott Daniels was third. John Allen and Gene Hogan rounded out the top 5.

Next Friday, Aug. 12, the USMTS Modifieds return to Humboldt Speedway. At this time, ticket prices for the multi-night October races are expected to be announced, along with other details. Adult admission for Friday's show will be $17 for adults, $5 for kids 12 and under with parents and $30 pit passes. Gates will open at 6 p.m.
