The staff at the Lakeside Speedway hit a home run with the racing surface on night 2 of the season and it showed as the racing was spectacular on Friday, April 15.

It is only the second race of the season at Lakeside Speedway, but this Friday night, April 15, the action will have a little bit more meaning behind it as it will be Seeburg Mufflers Night.

It was a chilly night at the Lakeside Speedway on Friday night for the season opener. Once the green flag waived for the first race the heat rose rather quickly.

A record 228 people attended Saturday night’s annual USRA Awards Banquet in the Star Pavilion located at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City as the USRA closed the curtain on the 2015 season.

Entering its seventh season, the USRA Holley Iron Man Series once again features a combination of both new venues and familiar facilities at 18 of the finest dirt ovals in Iowa, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri.
