Sanders, Lindsey claim wins at Amarillo Ambush

AMARILLO, Texas (June 20, 2025)—On Friday night, the 12th Annual Amarillo Ambush at Route 66 Motor Speedway showcased intense racing action in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, with Rodney Sanders and Teddy Lindsey emerging victorious in their respective classes.
In the USRA Limited Mod class, Sanders of Happy, Texas, led the feature race from his fourth starting position to secure the win.
Travis Graves of New Home, Texas, finished second, followed by Garret Ratliff of Amarillo, Texas, in third.
Scott Shipley of Lubbock, Texas, took fourth, and Hunter Welch of Olustee, Okla., rounded out the top five.
The USRA Tuner class saw Teddy Lindsey of Canyon, Texas, dominate from the pole to claim victory.
Austin Lindsey, also of Canyon, Texas, came in second, with Mekayla Wynne, another Canyon, Texas, driver, taking third.
Marcos Tobar of Amarillo, Texas, finished fourth, and Jarod Blackwell of Amarillo, Texas, completed the top five.
