HUMBODLT, Kan. - With a total of 75 race cars in attendence, there was plenty of action Friday night at the Humboldt Speedway.

It's been a tough year for Rodney Sigg, who would have no luck at all, it seems, if it wasn't bad.

However, on this night the gremlins were in full blown retreat and Sigg was the king of the 27-car USRA Modified field.

From the second row outside, Sigg followed eventual runner-up Jerald Folk for a few laps, then stepped down on the gas and bid the rest of the pack a fond farewell.

John Allen finished in third, followed by Gary Langworthy Jr. and Justin "Whitey" Folk.

Next week marks the mid-point of the 2009 season at Humboldt. Mid-season champs will be crowned after the features.
