Zentgraf, Evans bag Lawton loot

Payton Zentgraf won the URA Limited Mod main event.
LAWTON, Okla. (June 7, 2025)—Saturday night’s Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series at Lawton Speedway delivered intense racing action, with Payton Zentgraf and Terrell Evans securing victories in the USRA Limited Mod and Sunoco USRA Factory Stock feature races, respectively.
Fans filled the stands to witness competitive battles on a multi-groove track.
Zentgraf of Wichita Falls, Texas, charged from eighth to win the USRA Limited Mod feature, earning the hard-charger award in a thrilling 24-car field.
Robert Elliott of Clinton finished second after starting fourth, followed by Hunter Welch of Olustee in third. Jeffrey Kaup of Woodward took fourth and Daniel Cox of Lawton rounded out the top five.
Evans, of Cache, dominated the Sunoco USRA Factory Stock feature, starting from the pole and leading wire-to-wire for the win.
Koby Adams of Randlett surged from ninth to second, earning the hard-charger nod, while Jeremy Mitchell of Lawton climbed from 12th to third.
Kollin Teafatiller of Iowa Park, Texas, finished fourth and Tim Linares of Altus took fifth.
The 16-car field saw Evans maintain a commanding lead, with Adams and Mitchell providing the race’s highlight with their charges through traffic.
Lawton Speedway’s well-prepared surface allowed for aggressive racing and multiple passing opportunities, contributing to the night’s exciting finishes.
