VADO, N.M. (June 7, 2025)—Saturday night’s Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series at Vado Speedway Park showcased intense competition in the USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mod divisions, with Hunter Sandy of Albuquerque sweeping both feature races.

In the USRA Stock Cars, Sandy started eighth and battled to the front for the victory. Josh Beyer of Las Cruces finished second, followed by Justin Garrett of Deming in third. Sherman Barnett of El Paso took fourth, and David Garcia Jr., also of El Paso, rounded out the top five.

The USRA B-Mod feature saw Sandy again claim the win, starting from eighth. Shane McNutt of Las Cruces secured second, with Fito Gallardo of Las Cruces in third. Christy Barnett of El Paso finished fourth, and Devan Smith of Las Cruces completed the top five.

Vado Speedway Park hosts the next Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series event on Saturday, June 14.
