Shipman, Anderson school Chateau foes

Parker Anderson won the USRA Hobby Stock main event.
LANSING, Minn. (June 13, 2025)—Friday night’s Riverland Technical & Community College Night at Chateau Speedway showcased thrilling action in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series, with drivers battling for supremacy in the USRA Stock Car and USRA Hobby Stock classes.
In the USRA Stock Car Feature, Travis Shipman of Mason City, Iowa, started on the pole and held off a strong field to claim victory. P.J. Duchene of Faribault took second, followed by Stacy Krohnberg of Walters in third. Jackson Vsetecka of Fort Atkinson, Iowa, finished fourth, and Brady Williamson of Rushford rounded out the top five.
The USRA Hobby Stock Feature saw Parker Anderson of Welcome surge from eighth to take the win. Terry Quam of Cresco, Iowa, secured second, while Jason Newkirk of Austin claimed third. Michael Wick of Faribault finished fourth, and Jim Briggs of Waseca completed the top five.
The next event featuring the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series is set for Friday, June 20.
