Derek Van Veldhuizen won the USRA B-Mod main event.

ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa (June 13, 2025)—Friday night’s Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series event at Rapid Speedway showcased fierce competition in the USRA Stock Car, USRA B-Mod and USRA Hobby Stock classes.

In the USRA Stock Car Feature, Randy Brands of Boyden surged from ninth to claim the victory. Colton Arends of Luverne, Minn., finished second, followed by Rich Gregoire of Russell, Minn., in third. Jackson Mulder of Doon took fourth, and Levi Vander Weide of Sioux Falls, S.D., rounded out the top five.

The USRA B-Mod Feature saw Derek Van Veldhuizen of Rock Rapids take the win after starting second. Tyler Johnson of Montrose, S.D., secured second, while Dustin Kruse of Baltic, S.D., claimed third. Lyndon Johnson of Montrose, S.D., finished fourth, and Oliver Sackett of Pierson completed the top five.

In the USRA Hobby Stock Feature, Landon Krohn of Rowena, S.D., charged from ninth to secure the win. Dustin Gulbrandson of Sioux Falls, S.D., took second, followed by Blake Schneekloth of Brandon, S.D., in third. Tyler Schlumbohm of Sioux Falls, S.D., finished fourth, and Eric Gaul of Luverne, Minn., completed the top five.

The next event for the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series is scheduled for Friday, June 20, featruing USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks.
