HARTFORD, S.D. -- Six caution flags marred the USRA B-Mod feature Saturday at the I-90 Speedway, and they all happened before a lap was scored. If that wasn't bad enough, the event reached its time limit during the sixth yellow turning the race into a green-white-checkered two-lap A-Main. As bad as that all sounds it ended with a good story as polesitter Shawn Reed won his first race in almost seven years. When he left the sport at the end of 2007, Reed was at the top of I-90 Speedway's career wins list. Now second on that list, Reed's win was his 41st. He outraced Cameron Vande Weerd in the feature-turned-trophy dash.

Nick Brady led the first nine laps of the USRA Hobby Stock feature but Mike Chaney sped past on lap 10 en route to his third straight win. Chaney said, "This car is on fire! The bottom was great. I can't believe no one went down there." It's the second time this season that Brady was victimized by Chaney's late race heroics. Brady finished in second and Don Brady, Jr. was third. Chaney started 10th and, with the win, opened up a 37 point lead over Dustin Gulbrandson. The race opened with pole-sitter James Adams losing control in the second turn and shooting straight down into the inside retaining barricades. Adams was okay.
