Johnson, Hisel, Isaacs top big field at I-35 Speedway

Ethan Isaacs won the USRA B-Mod main event.

WINSTON, Mo. (May 31, 2025)—Another action-packed night at I-35 Speedway passed by, and with 126 cars in competition, it was an exciting night of racing. A grandstand full of fans and a track that was raved on by numerous drivers.

Ethan Isaacs dominated the USRA B-Mods, getting around last week’s feature winner Rylan Gibbs early, and then setting sail. Gibbs held on to second, with Tim Eaton, Ethan Young, and Lonnie Hibner following him home.

The USRA Stock Cars put on a show once again, with drivers going five-wide down the back-stretch during final lap of the second heat. The feature would not disappoint either, with Rodney Schweizer and Kristchon Hisel battling side-by-side for the lead.

Schweizer had a great car, but Hisel was perfect on the night. Jeff Dixon, Clayton Brown and Jayden Bears rounded out the top five.

It was the usual suspects in the USRA Modifieds battling for the win, minus Lee Hibner after trouble early ended his night. Houston Johnson got out to an early lead, while Tyler Hibner reeled him in slowly but surely throughout the race.

With under five laps to go, Hibner made his move to the inside of Johnson but got loose in turn one and spun out. The drivers were so spaced out from a long green flag run we would stay green, with Johnson winning by nearly a half-lap.

Brad Johnson followed the No 97 racing machine home, Hibner would recover to third, pole sitter Jimmie Dowell finished fourth, and Kenny Nutter rounded out the top five.

Thank you for joining us for another night of racing this season at I-35 Speedway. A massive thank you to every official, crew member, sponsor, driver and fan for making it all possible. We’ll see you all next Saturday Night. For more information, visit www.i-35speedway.net.
