MASON CITY, Iowa (June 1, 2025)—Pritchard Family Auto Stores Mason City Motor Speedway hosted a thrilling Sunday night for the USRA B-Mods $1,000 to win presented by Pepsi and Metalcraft, with the USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, and USRA Hobby Stocks divisions delivering intense action as part of the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.

In the USRA Stock Cars Feature, Chanse Hollatz of Clear Lake took the victory, charging from eighth to claim the checkered flag. Jesse Brown of Nashua finished second after starting second, followed by Travis Shipman of Mason City in third from the 11th spot. Brandon Hare of Elma secured fourth, advancing from 10th, and Myles Michehl of Fort Dodge rounded out the top five, starting seventh.

The USRA B-Mods Feature, highlighted by the $1,000-to-win prize presented by Pepsi and Metalcraft, saw Dan Hovden of Decorah take the win, leading from the pole position. Cole Suckow of Cresco finished second after starting seventh, while Ben Moudry of Protivin claimed third from the eighth spot. Kaeden Bronner of Austin, Minn., took fourth, starting fifth, and Nate Albrant of Clear Lake rounded out the top five, starting fourth.

In the USRA Hobby Stocks Feature, Zack Smidt of Mason City emerged victorious, starting fourth and powering to the front. Kolby Goepel of Britt finished second after starting fifth, followed by Joshua Monson of Clear Lake in third from the sixth position. Scott Dobel of Manly took fourth, starting from the pole, and Zac Smith of Manly completed the top five, charging from 13th.

The night, bolstered by the Pepsi and Metalcraft sponsorship, brought fierce competition, with drivers like Chanse Hollatz and Zac Smith thrilling the crowd with remarkable charges through the field. Heat race wins by Kevin Opheim, Dan Hovden, and Zack Smidt set the stage for a night of intense battles on the high-banked oval.
