Four USRA classes at Bloomfield Speedway in 2009

R & J Promotions, Inc., has announced their schedule of events for the 2009 racing season at the Bloomfield Speedway. The first race of the new season is slated for May 1, and will feature four USRA-sanctioned divisions as part of the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series there.

Bob Timm will be in his 19th year of racing in 2009, but the USRA Modified competitor will be a rookie in the racetrack promotions business as he takes over the reigns of the former Tri-Oval Speedway. With the new role also comes a new configuration for the track, a new clay surface and a new name. The facility will now be known as Mississippi Thunder Speedway.
USRA Modifieds to headline Outlaw Motor Speedway action in 2009

The Outlaw Motor Speedway in Oktaha, Okla., will make the USRA Modifieds part of their weekly Friday night program beginning in 2009. Licensed drivers racing in the USRA Modified division at OMS will be eligible for track points funds, as well as national points funds as part of the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series.

Another exciting season of Wild, Wild Wednesdays with racing under the United States Racing Association banner will kick off on Wednesday, May 13, with the season opener for the USRA Weekly Racing Series featuring MUSCO Lighting USRA Modifieds, USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars, Carter's Manufacturing USRA B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks.
