USRA Modifieds headline Shriners Night at Springfield Raceway

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Excitement at the Springfield Raceway just turned up another notch as Saturday night will feature lawn mower racing presented by Bad Boy Mowers at intermission on the karting track, along with the Speedway hosting Shriners Night.

"The Shriners do a lot for families in the area and this is just a simple way we can say thank you to this group by giving them a free night at the races," said track co-owner Doug Bland.

Coming off an action-packed night last weekend, classes will include the USRA Modifieds, Late Models, SportMods, Bombers and Legends Cars.

Grandstand gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 6:15 and racing at 7 p.m. sharp at the quick quarter-mile dirt track.

Admission is only $10 for adults with kids 6-12 just $5 and 5 and Under free.
