Extremely wet conditions have forced officials at the Southern Iowa Speedway to cancel the events for Wednesday, June 2. Racing will resume next Wednesday, June 9.

Gerod Olivier survived a number of cautions to win the USRA Sprint Car feature Monday at Huset's Speedway while Kenny Scholten and John Fischer picked up wins in USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mod and USRA Hobby Stock action, respectively.

Against a stout field of veteran stock car pilots, Mike Van Genderen looked like a super hero with a thrilling drive from last on the first lap of the main event to hoisting the winner’s trophy 19 laps later.

Ryan Gustin handily won his heat race, then drew the outside of the front row for the main event Wednesday night at the Southern Iowa Speedway. The 19-year-old from Marshalltown, Iowa, beat polesitter Ryan Ruter to the flagstand by a bumper to lead the first lap, but that proved to be as close as anybody would get.

The Dart Iron Man Challenge made its debut on Wednesday night at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, with a tough and talented field on hand to compete in the inaugural event for the newly-formed series for the full-fendered USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars.
