USRA RHS Modifieds will again headline the weekly line-up at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in 2010. Joining the line-up this year will be the USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mod division on a regular basis.

Champions were crowned, announcements were made and, in the end, Mississippi Thunder Speedway called it a successful, informative and building year for the new owners.

The Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wis., will make the USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mods part of their weekly Friday night program beginning in 2010, track owner Bob Timm announced this week.

Day two of the Fall Festival proved to be even colder than the first night with a harsh wind directly blowing right into the grandstands, but many fans braved the weather to usher out the season at Mississippi Thunder Speedway.

Persistent rain and storms all day Friday left little to be desired for racing action at Mississippi Thunder Speedway. Promoters called off racing early in the day, foreseeing no possibility of sneaking the racing in between showers.

A great count of cars were on hand for Winona Radio KAGE Budweiser Night at Mississippi Thunder Speedway Friday night. With three heats in the USRA Modifieds, it proved to be a very exciting night of racing with intense battles.

A hard rain passed through the area earlier in the day on Friday, July 24, which made it a very saturated track at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway, but regular racing festivities got underway and the evening appeared to be well on its way as the sun was out with a gentle breeze.
