The Mississippi Thunder Speedway will celebrate the 2011 racing season with their annual awards banquet on Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Riverport Inn & Suites in Winona.

Not only did Brandon Hare compete in more events than any other USRA driver in any division, he also joined an elite group of racers by defending his USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mod National Championship to become a two-time champion this year.

Jason Cummins capped his weekend off with a win in the USRA RHS Modifieds and Kylie Kath made a late-race pass to win the USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mod feature.

Keith Foss topped the USRA RHS Modified division over the 44 cars that entered the night’s event. Walski also had a much-needed sweep in the USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods.
