Deer Creek will try again next week
Deer Ceek Speedway will once again try to make an effort to get the 2007 racing season underway next week. Practice is scheduled for Thursday, April 19, and racing action will commence on Saturday, April 21.
Deer Creek practice April 12, opener set for April 14
Deer Creek Speedway has announced the changing of the practice and opener. Practice will now be held from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, with racing to commence on Saturday, April 14.
Deer Creek opening weekend postponed
Due to the difficult weather conditions officials from Deer Creek Speedway announce a schedule change for the opening weekend of the Southern Minnesota speedplant. Practice will now be held on Saturday, April 7, from 1-5 p.m. The new opener will be held on Saturday, April 14, with racing action starting at 5 p.m.
USRA releases 2007 rules
On the heels of wrapping up their most successful racing season to date, officials from the United States Racing Association (USRA) have released the rules to govern five USRA-sanctioned racing divisions, effective January 1, 2007.

Deer Creek banquet draws huge crowd
Deer Creek Speedway presented its annual banquet with approximately 325 people on hand to enjoy the night's activities. Another great evening of food provided by Grumpy’s in Grand Meadow started off the evening's activities. After the dinner, the Queensland family put together another great night of presentations and awards for the drivers and fans of the speedway.
USRA announces rules changes for 2007
