Donlinger nails down third win at Deer Creek
A quarter-inch of rain fell on the Deer Creek Speedway at 4:30 p.m., delaying the racing activity by two hours on Saturday. Most of the drivers and crowd hung around and saw great racing action all night long.
Donlinger stays hot at Deer Creek Speedway
A warm but Breezy day found a good field of cars and a nice crowd on hand for the Island Pool and Spa day at the Deer Creek Speedway. Tim Donlinger has had the hot hand at the redraw box through the first two weeks of the season. Both times Donlinger drew the front row redraw for the feature event.
Deer Creek succumbs to rain
Another great week leading up to another rainout. With great weather all week the crews have been busy putting the final touches on many needed projects only to have Mother Nature wash away all of the hard work.

After receiving one inch of rain in the past 24 hours, the crew at Deer Creek Speedway went about the task of preparing the racing surface for their season opener. It was the opener but it didn’t feel like it to many as the four week delay from Mother Nature took away some of the hype normally associated with the opening weekend.

With the completion of another successful racing season at the Southern Minnesota speedplant the crew at Deer Creek Speedway is preparing for the annual awards banquet that is scheduled to be held Saturday, Nov. 17, at Grumpy’s in Grand Meadow.
Deer Creek Speedway readies for invitational season
The season is rapidly winding down and the invitational part of the season is upon the speedway. The 25th of August will see the drivers take to the high banked speedway as they finish out the season with the Season Championship night.
