Jesse Glenz raced on to win the NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 Saturday and take home the $4,000 check along with the unique wood-carved gopher trophy and Husqvarna chain saw.

It was a picture perfect evening for racing at Deer Creek Speedway Saturday. A season high 121 race cars jammed the pit area and a big crowd turned out to witness fireworks in the sky and on the track.

This week was Pink-Out Night with Join The Journey at Deer Creek Speedway as everyone joined together in the fight against breast cancer. A total of 103 cars checked in on a hot and sultry day.

A record 228 people attended Saturday night’s annual USRA Awards Banquet in the Star Pavilion located at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City as the USRA closed the curtain on the 2015 season.

Entering its seventh season, the USRA Holley Iron Man Series once again features a combination of both new venues and familiar facilities at 18 of the finest dirt ovals in Iowa, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri.
