Officials from the United States Racing Association (USRA) announced this week that Summit Racing Equipment has entered into a multi-year partnership with the fastest-growing American-made dirt track racing sanctioning organization.

Beginning in 2017, Summit Racing Equipment will be the title sponsor of the USRA Weekly Racing Series, and The World’s Speed Shop™ will be the Official High Performance Source of the USRA.

“Our new coalition with Summit Racing Equipment is such a huge testament to the quality of our USRA Member Tracks and the thousands of drivers who compete at those tracks,” said USRA President Todd Staley. “We are extremely humbled and honored to be working with Summit Racing, and we know USRA racers will love Summit’s commitment to quality products and customer service.”

In addition to making a significant contribution to the track, regional and national points funds for drivers in the Summit Racing USRA Weekly Racing Series, Summit Racing will be rewarding USRA competitors in many ways throughout the racing season.

For starters, Summit Racing will offer a $50 gift card to the first 300 drivers who purchase a USRA Competitor License in 2017, as well as $100 gift cards to each of the top five in the final national points for all divisions.

Summit Racing Equipment is currently building a new Distribution Center and 32,000 square foot Retail Super Store in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The new facility means Summit Racing customers in most of Texas and adjacent states will enjoy one-day delivery on orders for in-stock parts.

The company plans to ship orders from the new Distribution Center starting in mid-2017. The Retail Super Store will open shortly afterward.

“The USRA Weekly Racing Series has a solid group of tracks covering the middle the country. This a great opportunity to support those tracks and the racers competing each weekend,” said Jim Greenleaf, Summit Racing’s Motorsports and Events Manager. “This is an exciting expansion of our dirt track racing programs across the country.”
