The second points race of the season at the Tri-State Speedway saw us once again doing battle with Mother Nature for a night to race that was free of rain.

The first points race of the 47th consecutive year of racing at the Tri-State Speedway had 78 cars battling it out on the high banks for their head start towards the big prize at the end of the season.

The 2017 racing season will see some new champions and additional points funds and contingency awards available for drivers competing in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.

The USRA Modified feature saw Tate Cole of Fort Gibson capture the win and pick up his third double win of the season Saturday, sept. 24, at the Tri-State Speedway.

The new Distribution Center is designed to process orders quickly and efficiently. It will be large enough to stock thousands of parts from over 1,200 manufacturers, ready for immediate delivery.

The make-up feature for the USRA Modifieds saw Andy Milliken out-pace the field for the win ahead of Chad Wheeler, but Wheeler bounced back to win the second main event Saturday at the Tri-State Speedway.

Mother Nature decided she needed to water the garden Saturday night at the Tri-State Speedway just as feature races were getting rolling.
