Twenty-one cars were scheduled to start in the Pitts Homes of Warsaw USRA Modified feature event at the LA Raceway Friday night, however, when the show concluded there were only 10 remaining.

With the strong support that Missouri area race tracks have given the USRA Modified division, Show-Me State drivers will head into this weekend's events doing very well in the top 25 of the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series national points standings.

A good battle between Matt Dotson and Chad Lyle made for an interesting race in the USRA Modified feature Friday night at the LA Raceway.

Mike Higley of Tecumseh, Kan., won for the third time in his last three starts Thursday as the Industrial Material Surplus Iron Man Challenge for USRA B-Mods invaded the LA Raceway in La Monte, Mo.

The USRA B-Mods will be in action Thursday, April 19, and Friday, April 27, when the Industrial Material Surplus Iron Man Challenge accompanies the USMTS Modifieds to two premier dirt ovals.

Entering its tenth season, the LA Raceway kicked the year off with a grandstand full of fans and a great field of cars as Terry Shultz of Sedalia snatched up the first feature win of the season in the USRA Modifieds.

The LA Raceway in La Monte, Mo., will begin its weekly series point races this Saturday, March 31, with USRA Modifieds headlining the action.

Both the USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods will be in action this Sunday, March 25, when the Iron Man Challenge accompanies the USMTS Modifieds to the I-35 Speedway in Winston, Mo., for the Annual Yancy’s Automotive Missouri Meltdown.
