Lebanon, Springfield ready for test ‘n’ tune sessions this weekend

LEBANON, Mo. - With the local racing season just around the corner, both the Midway Speedway in Lebanon, Mo., and Springfield (Mo.) Raceway will hold test ‘n’ tune practice sessions this Saturday, April 4.

At Midway, the pit gates will open at 11 a.m. with practice sessions in from 1-3 p.m. Pit passes will be $10 per person with grandstand admission free. This will be the only scheduled Saturday practice at Midway. The next sessions will be on April 10 and 17. The 2009 season featuring USRA Modifieds will start on Friday night, April 24.

The quick quarter-mile Springfield Raceway will hold practice on Saturday from 1-6 p.m. Pit gates will open at 11 a.m. with pit passes $20. Grandstand admission will be free. This is the only scheduled practice at Springfield before the opening event featuring USRA Modifieds on Saturday, April 18.
