Cowtown Speedway will be hosting their annual awards banquet on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011. The high-banked 1/4-mile dirt track located in Kennedale, Texas, will sanction the USRA RHS Modifieds as part of their weekly Saturday night program in 2011.

Twenty-four-year-old Chase Allen of Midlothian, Texas, joined Dirt Cast to talk about his career the part he played in getting Cowtown Speedway in Kennedale, Texas, to sanction Modifieds with the USRA for 2011.

Mississippi Thunder Speedway officially concluded its 2010 racing season with its awards banquet held at the Riverport Inn in Winona, Minn., on Saturday. Not only were the top in each class honored, but also track champions as well as two national champions.

Laptop computers are becoming more common around racecars, with most fuel injected cars using laptops to make adjustments to their timing and fuel curves. Intercomp Racing saw the opportunity to use this technology in their new wireless scale system.

The Chateau Raceway celebrated their 2010 racing season on Friday, Dec. 10. The awards banquet was held at the Primetime Bar & Grill, which is within the Oaks Country Club in Hayfield, Minn.

Deer Creek Speedway capped off the 2010 racing season on Saturday night at the Eagles Club in Rochester with their annual awards banquet. The banquet was full with every seat taken for the night’s activities.

Humboldt Speedway held its annual awards banquet this past weekend. Justin Folk was honored as the 2010 USRA RHS Modified track champion. It was the second straight track championship for “Whitey” and his seventh overall.
