Kennedy victorious on “Pink My Ride” night at I-90 Speedway

HARTFORD, S.D. -- Dave Kennedy outraced Brad Haas on a restart with three laps remaining in taking the USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mod win on I-90 Speedway's fifth annual “Pink My Ride” night.

Haas had been leading for seven laps until Kennedy slid underneath and past him in the second turn.

Several other drivers had a chance at winning the race including second place finisher Greg Roemen, Tyler Johnson, Justin Saathoff, Brock Hess and Kenny Scholten, who led the first five laps, as there was plenty of shuffling going on near the front.

“Pink My Ride” has become one of I-90 Speedway's most popular nights in recent years with the event being a fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network. B-Mod racers Tyler and Tracy Johnson started "Pink My Ride" after watching their young cousin, Cylie Pastian, battle cancer.
