It's been a long wait but, after a four-year hiatus and rainouts in July and August, officials are hoping that the third time's the charm as the long-awaited return of the mud-slinging Late Models to Oskaloosa's Southern Iowa Speedway happens on Tuesday, Sept. 12, for an epic battle on Mahaska County Half-Mile Monster.

The Cunningham Fertilizer Season Championships at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo., which were rained out back on Saturday, Aug. 26, has been rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 30. The battle for the USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series track points will come to an end and the 2006 Pepsi Scotland County Speedway track champions will be crowned at night's end.
