Steve Wetzstein, Kurt Krauskopf, Matt Jones, Adam Cline and Dillon Anderson picked up the victories Thursday night as the Cresco Speedway hosted the 5th Annual Kabrick Distributing Great American Stock Car Challenge.

Despite over three inches of rain that fell in Lebanon Thursday morning and a newly-laid dirt surface, the Lebanon I-44 Speedway provided plenty of action all night long with three- and sometimes four-wide racing as Eric Turner grabbed his first win of the season at I-44 Speedway.

Chateau Raceway powered by Miner's Outdoor & Recreation, kicked off the Fourth of July Weekend with a bang Thursday night as it presented another full night of action with over 100 in the pits for the first time in a couple seasons, setting up a 23-race program.

Johnny Bone Jr. won the 16th Annual Humboldt Speedway Modified Blast Thursday night. Well, maybe saying he "won" it is a bit of an understatement. This guy rolled into town and smoked everybody.

On Wednesday, July 2, the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, was rolled in and ready to host the 13th Annual MUSCO Lighting Great American Stock Car Shootout, but Mother Nature intervened with rain and caused the event to be postponed. Action is still on as planned for Thursday, July 3, at the Cresco Speedway in Cresco, Iowa, for the 5th Annual Kabrick Distributing Great American Stock Car Challenge, while the event at Oskaloosa has been postponed to next Wednesday, July 9.

The Nobles County Speedway in Worthington, Minn., will be hosting the annual Worthington Nationals presented by Jaycox Implement and Pepsi, this Saturday and Sunday, July 5-6. A $20,000 total purse will be paid out.

Mark Dobmeier and Kyle Nordquist each recorded their third consecutive win at Huset's Speedway Sunday night in USRA Outlaw Sprint and USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mod action, respectively. Jody Rosensoom earned his seventh feature win in ten tries in USRA Championship Sprint competition and Justin Arends scored his first win of 2008 in the USRA Hobby Stocks.

The high banks of the I-44 Speedway in Lebanon, Mo., will gear up for a special Late Model challenge event on Thursday night, July 3. Also racing on the Thursday Night Thunder card will be the USRA Modifieds with $750 to the winner.

The Midway Speedway will be providing plenty of bang-up action on Friday night, July 4, as a fireworks show will be included in the racing action as the new action track of the Ozarks will bring in America's birthday in grand style.

Mother Nature once again claimed another event at the Deer Creek Speedway on Saturday, June 28, but the month of July kicks off a busy season for the Deer Creek Speedway with some regular racing action and with specials for any drivers or fans needs.
