USRA Late Models heat up in June with four events in 11 days
With three races in the books for the USRA Late Models, a busy month of June awaits for the high-powered, full-fendered machines. The USRA Late Models will be back in action Saturday, June 2, at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo., for another $3,000-to-win, $250-to-start event.

USRA Late Models launch inaugural season this Saturday at Memphis
A new era will begin this Saturday, April 28, as the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo., hosts the inaugural event for the USRA Late Models. The 2007 season will mark the first time that the high-powered Late Model division will compete under the USRA banner.
Season opener pushed back to April 21
The start to the 2007 racing season at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway will have to wait one more week. Poor weather conditions throughout this week and the month of April have forced RL Promotions officials to pull the plug on Saturday’s season-opening event at the 3/8-mile clay oval.
Bloomfield, Memphis openers pushed back to April 20-21
The start to the 2007 racing season at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway and the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway will have to wait one more week. Poor weather conditions throughout this week and the month of April have forced RL Promotions officials to pull the plug on Friday and Saturday’s season-opening events at the 3/8-mile clay ovals.
USRA Late Models debut moved to Memphis, three-race season finale created
United States Racing Association officials have announced that the previously scheduled season opener for the newly-created USRA Late Models has been changed. Originally slated for April 20 at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway, the $3,000-to-win inaugural event for the USRA Late Models will now be hosted at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway on Saturday, April 28.
