After nearly 25 years behind the wheel of a Stock Car, nearly 200 wins and five Super Nationals victories, Steve Jackson of Polk City, Iowa, added yet another entry to his glowing résumé with a victory in Saturday’s Dart Iron Man Challenge main event.

The Dart Iron Man Challenge invades the Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo., this Saturday, June 19, for the third round of action for the newly-formed series for full-fendered USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars.

Unusually mild weather for early November in northeast Missouri greeted race fans Friday night at the Scotland County Speedway, but the non-stop action on the track was typical of what they've come to expect at the Pepsi Memphis Nationals.

Fans were treated to a picture perfect night Friday as the Scotland County Speedway hosted the first of two days comprising the Pepsi Memphis Nationals. And for fans and competitors alike, the racing surface at 3/8-mile semi-banked clay oval was flawless despite the track sitting dormant the entire 2009 season prior to Friday's big event.

The Pepsi Memphis Nationals will be held this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6-7, at the Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo. Just 80 miles north, the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, will host the finale of the 23rd Annual MUSCO Lighting Fall Challenge on Sunday, Nov. 8.

The Scotland County Speedway awards banquet, scheduled for Saturday evening, Jan. 19, has been canceled.

Banquet dates for four racetracks operated by RL Promotions in 2007 will be held in January and February of 2008. Class champions and top points finishers in the USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series will be recognized, as well as several special awards being doled out to drivers, team members and sponsors.
