Nick Johansen won his second Iron Man Challenge main event of the season while Mike Van Genderen picked up his third victory Sunday night at the Nobles County Speedway.

The Iron Man Challenge returns to action on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa, followed by a date at the Nobles County Speedway in Worthington, Minn., on Sunday.

The Nobles County Speedway is gearing up for the Worthington Nationals this Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 28-29. USRA RHS Modifieds will race for $1,500 to win on Sunday, while USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars battle for $1,000 to win. A top prize of $700 has been posted for both the USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks.

A whopping $2,000 top prize was on the line Sunday as the Dart Iron Man Challenge for USRA Stock Cars made their fifth stop of the maiden campaign at the Nobles County Speedway. A season-high 31 full-fendered USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars were in attendance to take on the quarter-mile clay oval overlooking I-90 in Worthington, Minn., and a chance at a big fat bag of loot.

Officials at the Murray County Speedway in Slayton, Minn., have anounced that DeBoer Chevrolet of Edgerton has stepped up to make the Dart Iron Man Challenge event on Aug. 6 worth $1,000 to the winner.

The hottest and toughest Stock Car drivers in the upper Midwest are gearing up for the hottest and toughest Stock Car series in the region as the Dart Iron Man Challenge invades five tracks in Iowa and Minnesota during the first six days of August.
