2025 USRA Modified Champion: Houston Johnson

—At just 25 years old, Houston Johnson became the newest star of the USRA Modified division, capturing his first national championship with an incredible season of dominance and determination.
The Kansas City, Mo., racer rolled out for 41 starts, collecting 20 feature wins, 30 top-fives and 36 top-tens in a year that saw him outduel the best in the business.
Johnson’s smooth yet aggressive style and his ability to close races under pressure defined a season that elevated him to the top of America’s premier division in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.
Houston collected wins at the following:
📍Creek County Speedway - 1 win
📍I-35 Speedway - 16 wins
