With three races in the books for the USRA Late Models, a busy month of June awaits for the high-powered, full-fendered machines. The USRA Late Models will be back in action Saturday, June 2, at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo., for another $3,000-to-win, $250-to-start event.
Officials from the United States Racing Association (USRA) have announced an increase in the winner’s share of the purse at headline events for the USRA Late Models during the 2007 season. In all there are 12 events that were formerly announced as $2,000-to-win shows will now carry a $3,000 top prize instead.
Extra money is on the line for any USRA B-Mod or USRA Hobby Stock driver finishing in the top-10 in track points during the 2007 race schedule at the Highway 3 Raceway in Allison, Iowa. A minimum $300 top prize will be awarded for winning the USRA B-Mod points fund, while the top USRA Hobby Stock driver will pocket a minimum of $200 for his/her efforts.
