A cool fall night brought to a close the 2009 regular season racing action at Deer Creek Speedway with track champions secured in most classes.

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series was rained out last week and has been rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Deer Creek Speedway. The support class for this event has been changed to the USRA Karl Chevrolet B-Mods as they make their debut at the popular 3/8-mile high-banked oval.

A great field of cars were on hand in the USRA Modifieds Saturday night at the Deer creek Speedway, and their feature race was awesome.

The USRA Modifieds were up last Saturday at the Deer Creek Speedway, and with a black slick track the Modifieds put on a good show.

Saturday at the Deer Creek Speedway, the final race of the night was the USRA Modified feature event. A restart with 12 laps to go saw Jason Cummins move under Todd Scharkey for the lead and eventual win.

A slightly cool afternoon brought out the fans to the second annual Popapalooza Concert for a Cure and racing event Saturday at the Deer Creek Speedway. With an afternoon full of Texas Hold 'Em, wine tasting and music, the racing action took the center stage.

The USRA Modifieds pulled onto the track for their feature Saturday night at the Deer Creek Speedway and, as is typically the case, stole the show by having the best race of the night.

On a very cool July day, the final event Saturday night at the Deer Creek Speedway was the USRA Modified feature with Kelly Shryock taking the win over Tim Donlinger, Jason Cummins, Zack VanderBeek and Jason Krohn.

After coming off a successful Fourth of July race and then Wednesday night's Gopher 50, a good field of cars and fans showed up for the regular night of racing on Saturday night at the Deer Creek Speedway.

The final race of the night Saturday at the Deer Creek Speedway saw the USRA Modifieds racing for $1,250 to win as Nate Wasmund captured his first regular season win of his career at the facility.

In the EZ Fabricating USRA Modified feature Saturday night at the Deer Creek Speedway, Nate Wasmund jumped out to the early lead with Ryan York and Brad Waits racing for second while Steve Wetzstein sat in third waiting for his move.

The 30th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 is set for Wednesday, July 8, at the Deer Creek Speedway near Spring Valley, Minn. USRA Modifieds will compete for national points in the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series.
