The deadline is nearing for fans to go and vote for Lucas Oil Speedway's Most Popular Driver award for the 2022 season.

Online voting will conclude at the end of the day on Friday for the annual award, which will be presented at Lucas Oil Speedway's Postseason Awards Banquet on Nov. 19 at Camden on the Lake Resort in Lake Ozark.

Fans can cast their vote at cast their vote at lucasoilspeedway.com/vote with the top 10 drivers in season points in the Cedar Creek Beef Jerky USRA Modifieds, Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mods, Hermitage Lumber Late Models and O'Reilly Auto Parts Medieval USRA Stock Cars listed on the ballot.

One vote per email address is permitted. Fans also can submit a write-in vote if they choose.

Cedar Creek Beef Jerky USRA Modified track champion Dillon McCowan of Urbana was named Most Popular Driver in 2021.

Track champions and the top 10 drivers in each of the four Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series divisions will be honored at the awards banquet with several other specialty award winners also unveiled.

Tickets for the event are $40 and must be reserved by Oct. 28 by sending an RSVP to Lucas Oil Speedway Admissions Director Nichole McMillan at (417) 282-5984 or by email at nichole@lucasoilspeedway.com.

Fans are welcomed to attend. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour at 6 p.m., invocation at 7 and dinner and awards to follow. An after party will be held at the H-Toad, located on the upper floor.

In addition to Most Popular Driver, awards will be presented for Best Appearing Race Car and the Forrest Lucas Lifetime Achievement Award.

Swap meet Saturday: Lucas Oil Speedway will be hosting a Swap Meet and Flea Market in the dirt track pit area on Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Vendor booth fee is $30 with a set-up time of 7-9 a.m. Cars, parts, collectibles, antiques, crafts, household items and all types of vendors are welcome. To reserve a vendor spot call (417) 282-5984.

Admission is $6 for ages 13 and older with 12 and under free. There will be a food vendor on site.
